Flautina is a free, two-octave English Concertina that sounds like a wooden flute.
The app is very easy to play. All the sounds are recorded from my personal antique Metzler wooden flute.
The chromatic range is from D4 to C#6.
Touch the ? icon to show the names of the notes on the buttons.
To play, hold the iPhone or iPod Touch between your thumb and little fingers of both hands, and press the buttons with your index and middle fingers.
Exactly like a real English concertina, the scale patterns alternate between the fingers of the right and left hands. Notes are higher in pitch as you move from the outside to the middle of the screen.
For the most realistic flute sound, try and play as smooth and legato as possible, blending one note into the next.
